WHAT IS PAINTBALL?
Paintball has been described as a combination of Hide and Seek,
Capture the Flag and a little bit of chess thrown in. Two teams start at opposite ends of the field. The object
of the game is to eliminate the opposing team and capture the flag. There are "bunkers," made of tubes, pallets or different
shaped inflatable vinyl bags, to hide behind.
During the game, players attempt to eliminate opposing team members by marking them with a
paint-filled projectile which (usually) breaks on impact. This projectile, or paintball is fired from a CO2 or compressed
air powered airgun, which is set at a safe velocity, so as not to injure players.
HOW SAFE IS PAINTBALL?
Paintball is the safest sport in the world.
According to Sport Games Manufacturing Association, Intl. (http://sgma.com) , paintball is safer
than bowling.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

4 hours of play time. If you bring you own equipment, it costs a little less.

DO I NEED MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
No, we have paintball markers, goggle and masks and all the
accessories you need to have a great time. Of course, if you have your own equipment, bring it.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PAINTBALL GUN?
Yes, you can bring your own equipment. We will check the velocity with a chronograph
to make sure it is shooting less than the field speed of 300 feet per second.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Old clothes are preferable. Although the paintballs don't
stain most clothing, they will stain some materials. Also, you may be crawling around on the ground, and ripping your
clothes could be a possibility. Bring a change of clothes for the ride home.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Our insurance regulations require all players be at least 10 years
old. There is no maximum age limit.
CAN I GET THE PAINT OUT OF MY CLOTHES?
Yes, it's water soluble. It won't stain most clothing, but
we suggest wearing old clothes, just in case. Long pants, long sleeved shirt and closed shoes are preferable.
DO I HAVE TO BE ON A TEAM?
No. We can accommodate individual players. We will place
you with other players that are on the same experience level.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Drinks and maybe a snack. Fruit is really good for south Florida
heat and humidity. Even in the winter. A change of clothes is a good idea, too.
DO I NEED TO BE PHYSICALLY FIT TO PLAY?
Not especially. Paintball is a great equalizer. You
don't need to have big muscles or be able to run fast. Paintball is the only extreme sport that can be enjoyed by any
age or athletic ability. As with any strenuous exercise, consult a doctor.
DO WOMEN PLAY PAINTBALL?
Yes, in fact we have had a sharp rise in girls' birthday paries.
And there are a few all-women teams in the professional paintball circuit.
